a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma

While the bickering and blame game from yesterday's fiasco (ie the release of the terrorist head of Shefa Hospital) continue, another crazy situation arises.

Today the Israeli government connected Gaza to the Israeli power grid and let the electricity flow.

Now, if Benny Gantz would still be in the government coalition and War Cabinet, Ministers Ben Gvir and Smotritch (among others) would be screaming that Gantz needs to go, the Conceptzia Cabinet is destroying the war effort, Gantz is insisting we lose the war by giving them electricity and other aid, etc. But alas, Gantz is not in the government and Ben Gvir has nobody to blame and scream about other than his natural partners who he can only attack so much.

So now, with nobody to scream at, the full right wing government turns on the electricity in Gaza with nothing in return and nobody says a word.

This government is a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma..

  1. Obviously pressure from US

Maybe there's electricity but I'm pretty sure all the plugs are gone with the buildings that were destroyed.
I agree with Michael. Israel is slowly tilting to war with Hezbollah. The US needs concessions from Israel on Gaza to also tilt and say "We support you and we'll hold off Iran".

  3. Turning on the electricity to generate desalinated drinking water was essential - especially with the accusations of forced starvation on the Palestinian people.

What is interesting is that it seems that the biggest opposition to the government (both with this and the released prisoners) are members of the government - i.e, the government is working both as government and as opposition.
This government has become totally dysfunctional, and it is time to elect a new government.

The government has become its own opposition because the actual opposition is useless.
I think this is behind-the-scenes pressure from the Americans - do this so we can support you in Lebanon.

    2. There is of course no starvation, forced or otherwise. There *should* be, as there always is in warfare, but there isn't, because Jews.

But yes, this is terror of the Hague.
