Nobel Peace Prize


A Norwegian politician has nominated UNRWA for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Yes, you read that correctly. UNRWA has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

UNRWA, the organization whose members participated in the October 7 massacre, members who took and held hostages, members who supported Hamas, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I wonder why they settled for UNRWA and didn't just nominate Hamas itself for the Nobel Peace Prize! or maybe even Iran!

The world is a strange place.

stopping aid to UNRWA

UNRWA has been shown to practically being an arm of Hamas as some/many of their staff are actual Hamas terrorists, in addition to some having been involved in the October 7 massacre and some having been involved in holding hostages in Gaza since October 7.

That is besides for the raison d'etre of UNRWA being to keep the conflict going, to keep the Palestinians depressed. No other people in the world get the same level of refugee status the way UNRWA grants this status to the Palestinians. 

Israel suggested to the main donors of UNRWA the other day that funding should be stopped, they should know to where their money is going.
 
Since then one by one all the main donors of UNRWA have frozen the funding, with the EU just announcing a short while ago that they too are freezing their funding pending an investigation.

So Israel got all the countries giving aid to UNRWA to stop while Israel itself continues to send aid via UNRWA every day in the forms of tens of truckloads of fuel, flour, water and equipment (with an estimated 60-70 percent of that aid going right to Hamas) daily.

What a strange situation

UNRWA lifesaving assistance is about to end following countries decisions to cut their funding to the Agency. Our humanitarian operation, on which 2 million people depend as a lifeline in Gaza, is collapsing. I am shocked such decisions are taken based on alleged behavior of a few individuals and as the war continues, needs are deepening & famine looms.

  -- United Nations Relief and Works Agency Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini, to the news of several countries deciding to stop funding UNRWA considering its activities on behalf of Hamas and some of its employees actually being active members of Hamas who also participated in the October 7 massacre and holding hostages since

Lazzarini thinks saying their assistance coming to an end is a threat or a dire warning, but it is actually a blessed development considering their functioning as an arm/tool of Hamas

stockpiling humanitarian aid in Gaza

The Gaza Report on Twitter/X reported a short while ago that Gazan civilians somehow discovered that UNRWA was storing humanitarian aid food, while they have no food available and food on the black market is skyrocketing.

The civilians got upset to discover the UNRWA stage of food designated for them but not being distributed to them. They made a run on the warehouses and raided them taking food and supplies.

The question is why UNRWA is storing the aid rather than distributing it. 

My theory is that they are storing [some of] the aid so they can use it to feed the Israeli hostages their agents are holding....

Nah, forget it. They wouldnt feed the hostages they hold. At least not enough to need to store all that aid - just a pittance if anything. They must be storing it for Hamas.








Good thing Israel decided to let in humanitarian aid after world pressure insisted on it. Maybe the world should pressure UNRWA to distribute some of it...
