A touch of Israeli

A guy was supposed to come to my office for a meeting with me and my boss. He wanted the meeting, not us. Trying to sell us something or other.
  1. He came late
  2. He was not aware of the security it takes to get into the building, which causes more delays (forgivable)
  3. He came with a motorcycle helmet, which security does not let in to the building (why, I have no idea)
  4. He called up and asked to meet him downstairs over coffee
  5. We rejected it saying he is late and we have no time for that (don't forget - he wanted the meeting, not us).
  6. His secretary called asking why we are pushing him off - he is such an important person, blah blah blah
If you are so important, why are you crawling to me? I am a nobody. Go find somebody more important than me who has time to waste listening to you.

This guy is not getting a second chance. That's for sure.

  1. This reminds me of some interview stories.

We were supposed to interview someone at 2PM. He actually shows up at 3:30PM. When we ask him why he is late, he answers, why didn't you call me to remind me what time the interview was?

We scheduled an interview with a candidate. An hour before the interview he calls up and asks, please remind me what your company name is so that I can find it.

Needless to say they didn't get the job.

  7. A South African was describing a real Israeli who he interviewed.
The guy came an hour late dressed in a loud t-shirt and cut-off shorts. In the middle of the interview his phone rings and he talks loudly for 5 minutes before hanging up.

Needless to say, he didn't get the job.
