Tzipi Hotovely at the Jerusalem Conference (video)
Interesting point she makes that there is no need to annex Judea and Samaria. Annexation, Hotoveli says, is for when you are bringing in land that does not belong to you. Judea and Samaria is part of Eretz Yisrael, so there is no need to annex it.
You do realize that that is her way of evading the actual process of annexation and perpetuating the current reality whereby that territory is "Not" officially annexed, right? It's just the flipside to the leftist coin. The leftists say we can't annex it because it belongs to the Arabs. The phony rightist says we can't annex it because it's already ours. At the end of the day, no one wants to annex our own conquered land. She is very deceptive in this interview.
I disagree with that point. As long as Israel doesn't annex it, it remains disputable. Had Israel annexed it and called it Israel and not the Shtachim, then it would send everyone a clear message.
Sort of like how Embassies aren't located in Israel's capitol, as they do in every other country in the world. They don't want to make that clear distinction about Yrslm. It's this refusal to call a spade a spade that has caused us such trouble.
I see there are TWO sides to the Israeli politician named Tzipi! I see she also wears two different sheitels (one blonde, one dk brown)!
ReplyDeleteshe is not married so I guess that would be 2 colors of hair dye

ReplyDeleteI have never seen someone who looks so different in person than in photos or video.
