QOTD

All those who come with complaints about the positions of Yisrael Beiteinu are those who lost in the elections. They are losers, and the rest are the winners.

  1. I don't agree with all his opinions, but I'll give him this: He's got more - ok, I'll use the word guts - than anyone else in the govt. And Israel needs people like that.

  2. Can someone please explain to this confused Yid why this proposed legislation to allow Israelis abroad to vote would benefit the right wing?

I though it was the granola-crunching pantywaist lefties who preferred the cafes of Europe and New York to the benighted nationalism and belligerence of Israel? And the loyal, patriotic right-wingers who could be counted upon to be in Israel when the going gets tough?

Can someone please explain this to me?

  3. Hey, Shaul - long time no see. It is though tot be a benefit to the right wing more than the left because left wingers who have left Israel dont care enough to vote.

Think of it like this - they can hardly be bothered to go vote even when they are still living in Israel, why would they go vote when they have left israel?

Sure, some will vote, and elft wing parties will try to mobilize them to vote and some more will, but overall, the left wing expats are thought of as being far less interested and involved than the right wing expats
