Crispy Shnitzel For Dummies
I actually saw the following recipe in a weekend Hebrew newspaper this Shabbos.
The recipe was for "crispy shnitzel".
The Recipe for Crispy Shnitzel
Ingredients: chicken shnitzel, as per how many servings are needed; raw egg, breadcrumbs, oil for frying.Instructions:
- beat raw egg in a bowl
- pour bread crumbs in separate bowl
- dip chicken breast in egg then dip in bread crumbs
- fry chicken until golden
- serve hot and crispy. dont put in fridge, as it will make it lose the crispiness
Note: Do not change the order of actions
Really? Don't change the order? you mean I shouldn't fry the chicken before dipping it in bread crumbs? I shouldn't dip it in breadcrumbs before the egg? Maybe I might serve it hot and crispy before frying it?
