I am not sure how he can fight and possibly give away something he does not own, should he lose. Meaning, what does Putin have to gain from this, even if he should win? And if he should win, would he take the Ukraine for himself or would he just grant Ukraine their independence? And why does he think Putin would honor this arrangement?
