Interesting Psak: ChatGPT is bad
The rabbonim of Skver in the United Statres of America have issued a psak against the use of Artificial intelligence. The refer to the company Open AI and its popular ChatGPT product, but say they refer to all forms and companies of this.
In the letter issued they say that after investigating the matter they have come to the conclusion that the artificial intelligence system, is basically a portal to unlimited abominations, heresy and sexual deviations. And, they say, we probably do not yet even know fully how dangerous it is and will be. To that end it is prohibited to use all the forms of Artificial Intelligence, even on a regular or a kosher phone.

Check out the original psak. It used the same basic reasoning as banning unfiltered internet. It wasn't an attack on AI as such.
ReplyDeleteabout using ChapGPT on kosher phones, there are filtered phones with WhatsApp and there are whatsapp numbers that directly link to ChatGPT . I've tried them, slower than direct access, but useable
