flotilla, take two
So Greta Thunberg arranged an aide flotilla to sail to Gaza and it should be arriving soon.
While it seems unlikely the flotilla and the aide they are carrying will make it to Gaza, I also am pretty sure that this will somehow become another PR disaster for Israel.
How do you think Israel should handle this?

I think the boat sinking for unknown reasons in open waters with Israel not having anything to do with it would be the best possible solution to this agitator and agitation...

DeleteThis is a PR disaster no matter what so Israel should do one of the following
ReplyDelete1) Let her into Gaza and once everyone's off the boat, sink it so she and her idiot followers are stuck there
2) Hire a skiff, deck it out with Palestinian flags and approach the yacht while it's still in international waters shouting "Free Palestine! From River to See!" Then when you're close, sink the boat and sail away quickly.
Under no circumstances should they arrest her. That's really what she's craving. Landing in Gaza and handing out free environmentally friendly kefiyehs will get her limited publicity but being dragged around by Israeli cops? Priceless for her.
Looks like they handled it exactly the right way. Be super-nice to them and make them look ridiculous.

DeleteI think it would be funny that now that the boat has been towed to Ashdod, to unload all the "Humanitarian Supplies" on board, put them in a small truck or van, and send it to Gaza together with other hundreds of massive trucks going in daily. Then release a photo showing the whole convoy of several hundred large trucks delivering aid to Gaza with an arrow pointing to the small truck from the Selfie Flotilla showing how insignificant it is compared to the actual aid being delivered to Gaza every day by responsible organizations,

ReplyDeleteThen make them watch 3 hours straight of Greta Thunberg climate speeches.
I'm not sure which is worse psychological torture.
