  1. There was a simple chilling basis back in 1976 for Dora Bloch being allowed to slip out of the scene.

    Back then ,this was eerie
All the hostages from far chiloni to religious requested from the Ugandan Government, kosher food, which was granted .
    With a single exception:Dora B.
She, pointedly in front of the others, demanded receiving a non kosher meal. When she then choked on a bone, she was taken away to the hospital..
    This was,back then,eerie

    1. Actually, the choking was not so bad. They pretended it was worse than it was, so that she could be taken to the hospital which, it was believed, was safer than the airport. (At any moment the terrorists could have just killed them all.) At least they figured it was a better place for an elderly lady.

They had no way of knowing how wrong they were.

The medical staff tried to save her and were killed as well.

  2. Wow! Can anyone backup or dispute Chaya Cohen's comment?

  3. How about a reference or source for this little bit of slander of a Jewish martyr?

It was referenced in the movie documentary around 25-30 years ago.

    1. 1. You know absolutely nothing about me, so you don't know what my preferred outlook is. In my line of work, it is frowned upon to make statements with no evidence or references to back them up.

      2. What is most offensive, however, is the less than subtle implication that somehow Mrs. Bloch was almost deserving of her fate because of her choice of food.
