Bad timing?

Not to fuel conspiracy theories, but it seems strange to me, a bit too much of a coincidence, that right when the world population starts vaccinating an announcement is made of the discovery of a new mutation with a very high morbidity rate. World leaders and medical experts have yet to say the vaccine is definitely going to be effective for the new mutation, though they seem to be saying they think it will be.

Coincidence? Bad timing? Part of something bigger? I don't know.

  1. If you're talking about the news from the UK (the mutation was first found in Denmark 2 months ago... remember the shtreimels), the morbidity rate is not higher. But the mutation is more contagious.

  2. Yes, they thought they had killed off that strain by isolating it to Denmark, but it re-appeared in the UK. So, Israelis arriving from Denmark and the UK will have to be put into corona hotels....
