Tzippi Livni's umbilical cord
I live in Tel Aviv, but my umbilical cord indeed is connected to the Temple Mount, both from a personal perspective, and in my national, public life as well. The feeling of belonging to Jerusalem is not necessarily related to observance of the mitzvot although I regret it has weakened somewhat with age. The way to reconnect with one's Judaism, is at the national, and not the religious level.
Shes not frum. Maybe thats what she meant. That she was born attached to it, but she severed it thru her choices
