2. When I read the recent article in the New York Magazine about Rabbi Weiss and his new ordination for women, I wasn't sure what to think about it. Rabbi Weiss seemed to come off as someone who is just looking for trouble. What I mean is that when he didn't make big enough waves with the Maharat title, he changed it to Rabba. Then he changed it back. And all the descriptions of other fights he has fought. The impression I got is that while I am sure he is doing what he believes to be correct, he is more interested in shocking the system than just doing what he considers right. Isnt that the point? he wants people to reexamine these issues in this new societal context and so he of course is trying to create a state of anomie
