Star Trek Fight The Nazis
This old Star Trek episode never before showed in Germany. Until now. 43 years after it was first shown, it has finally played in Germany. I guess they figured the Germans finally wont be so sensitive about the Nazi content.
Not being a Star Trek fan (though my brother was), I never even knew that such an episode had ever been made..
It is my understanding that this ep was made in part because they could borrow wardrobe from another show, so they could save on the budget. (Actually this is true of a number of episodes of Original Trek)
400 years after it was first shown, it has finally played in Germany.

ReplyDeleteIt was definitely a low budget show - everything was made of either cardboard or polyester, and you could tell, even without high definition.
