I sent this to college (UCLA) friends in the U. S., knowing that they and their kids are basketball enthusiasts. This was the reply I received:
ReplyDelete"Aaron Liberman is from our neighborhood [North Hollywood, I presume.]. He went to Valley Torah High School and ** is friends with two of his younger brothers who also play basketball. Although we are quite used to hearing about him, it is still pretty cool to have a Yid come off the bench, at the end of a blow out game, for a Big Ten school!"
I had no idea he was a Southern Californian. Shows you just how much I follow sports, huh? As a native San Diegan, I follow the ancient tradition of paying attention to sports only when our home teams are winning. ;-)
