The story is BS. Who saves a piece of matza from the Afikomen to bring on a flight?
Neither the Afikomen nor the doctor saved the boy's life - Hashem did!
So, next time I'm on a flight with you and you get sick, should I ignore the call for a physician, and rely on hashem curing you? Assuming, of course, that there's no magic afikoman available.
