  1. Rafi, why do you do that / Is it fun for you to incite? Yes, I'm sure he wouldn't do it if he wasn't minister because it would mean nothing to the soldiers as a regular member of the public. As minister it means a lot. He did this out of Kavod, not for political gain. He has nothing to gain at all politically. Only the Chareidim vote for Chareidi parties and this doesn't help him. So yes, he did this out of love.

  2. incite what? I have long spoken about the slow change taking place in Haredi society. Until now this was one of the reasons they refused to become ministers. now they are willing, and this is the result, which was expected and known in advance. The fact that this image exists, the fact that he attended, and knew he would have to, is another stage in the slow process of Israelization of the Haredi community..

    1. For the record, they were forced to become ministers by Yair Lapid, but one way or another, it's a good change.

    2. yes, he was "forced" to by Lapid and the Supreme Court, but was he really forced? Until now the Haredi MKs knew how to say no to becoming a minister, and this time they said yes. He could have asked for a different position, just like Moshe Gafni did - head of a committee instead of being a minister. He was forced to give up the deputy minister position and he chose to accept the minister position. and he chose it knowing what it would mean as far as his participation in government events and government decisions.

  3. To understand, when you said "Now that Litzman is a minister, he must participate in these State events..." you meant in a positive way, like "Yay Chareidim doing something good", not like the obvious interpretation which is "He wouldn't do this ceremony if he could get away with it, but now the Chareidi guy is forced to"
