and here is the final poster in the series... turns out it is not a new running group training for a marathon, but it is Lemaan Achai's Tzedakathon for Purim!

you can of course donate online, via the website in the poster (www.smartchesed.org), or you can drop off money at any of the various LA drop-off points, of which I will be one as well.

Reach thousands of readers with your ad by advertising on Life in Israel

  1. Nice campaign Lema'an Achai!

    Much hatzlocha in your goal.

Thank you for your amazing work and consideration for others in keeping the adverts to a minimum!

  2. So it has begun....

The yearly destruction of Lema'an Achai's "tzanua" advertising by hateful people.

The banner in the Ayalaon/Sorek kikar was ripped off and ruined. The banner on Dolev across from Masaas Mordechai is missing.

Isn't is ironic that the Kupa advertising in both places is still intact?

Don't these hateful people have "lo sigzol" in their version of the Torah as well?

I encourage everyone to be on the lookout for these people and report them (and take pictures if possible) at once.

May we all have a Purim of "ahava v'rayus" this year...lol.

  3. who should such a thing be reported to?

posters get removed or covered all the time. why will anyone care?

  4. This isn't stam covering..this is destroying banners which are expensive and paid for by sponsors.

  5. Rafi,

I disagree..covering over a poster with another is "mekubal". Ripping a canvas banner so that it shreds and the grommets rip for no reason other than to damage it is gezala..plain and simple.

Perhaps you spent too much time in Charedi yeshivos to say this is ok.

  6. I didnt say it is ok. I said who are you going to complain to that is going to care?

  7. Stealing is stealing no matter what. Perhaps report to the police.

Purim isn't even here yet and I am already sick of the advertising blitz.

Yes Purim is fun, yes everyone has "clever" adverts but why must the entire neighborhood look like a billboard.

And who gave one organization the monopoly over all public space?
