Ina  picture released by the Prime Minister's Office, Priem Minister Yair Lapid is hanging the Jerusalem Declaration document, signed by him and US President Joe Biden, in the government cabinet meeting room.

The joint declaration reaffirms "the unbreakable bonds between our two countries and the enduring commitment of the United States to Israel’s security". In the declaration the United States commits to never allowing Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

The day of the fast of 17 Tammuz is an appropriate day to hang such a document..
