Rav Nir Ben Artzi Adds To His Predictions

Rav Nir Ben Artzi's recent predictions for an earthquake in Turkey, among other predictions, are looking pretty authentic. Not resting on his laurels, Rav Nir Ben Artzi has added to his recent set of predictions.

Regarding the recent earthquake in Turkey, he said this was only round 1, and more is on its way. Turkey, according to Rav Nir Ben Artzi, has internal strife coming, along with more earthquakes. He added that any country that will speak and act against the Jewish nation and the Holy Land will immediately be hurt.

He also said Japan has another tsunami coming. I don't know what Japan did against Israel, but maybe its troubles are not following the same rules as Turkey's troubles.

As well, he said the USA will also continue to be hit with the strong forces of nature at their full power. In Egypt, the internal strife is so far only the beginning, and the recent uprisings will flare up again and strengthen.

He repeated from previous speeches that the recently released terrorists will not return to terror. They will fight among themselves and won't find the time to act against Israel. While Gilad Shalit, without even knowing it himself, has caused a great tikkun for Am Yisrael.

I don't know how, or if, these predictions work and happen, or if these are just warnings for us to improve our ways and the "natural" results of doing so, but I find his speeches to be interesting and intriguing.

  1. I don't find the predictions authentic. Note that he predicted in 2010 that 'God will cleanse the world and erase China from the world this year, and there will be rough winds there'

    That did not happen.

If you consistently follow him, you will notice that he makes a bunch of dire predictions about many countries. People ignore his many failed predictions, and only pay attention to the ones which seem accurate, or can be kvetched to seem accurate. This is a form of the sharpshooter's fallacy.

He predicted that "He added that any country that will speak and act against the Jewish nation and the Holy Land will immediately be hurt."

What will happen? Via simple derech hateva, bad things will happen in a bunch of countries. The ones who have no shaychus to Israel will be ignored. Those that do, his followers will jump up and down pointing to those countries as proof. And those countries that spoke or acted against Israel but were not 'immediately' punished will be ignored.

In terms of his 'prediction' that Japan will be hit by a tsunami, I am entirely unimpressed. Here is a little factoid that perhaps he knows or perhaps not:

Tsunamis occur most frequently in the Pacific, particularly along the "Pacific Ring of Fire ". This zone is found at the northern edge of the Pacific Plate and refers to the geologically most active fields of the earth. Several times a year, strong earthquakes of at least 7 on the Richter scale result in tsunamis. Japan, for example, is hit by a tsunami at least once a year.

He is predicting that it will snow in winter, and people are awed.

  2. Turkey is a very "seismic" area. Predicting earthquakes in Turkey is like predicting rain in Seattle. (There are earthquakes in Turkey, literally, every day.)

"He added that any country that will speak and act against the Jewish nation and the Holy Land will immediately be hurt."

Really? Immediately? Tell that to the 6 million Jews who were murdered in Europe over a 12 year period. What a load of crap!

A Tsunami in Japan! Stop the presses!

"Strong forces of nature at full power", ROTFL. What the hell does that mean? The U.S. is a big, geographically diverse country. It is susceptible to a full range of weather and other natural "events".

    This guy's a nut.
