no more standardized exams for determining university acceptance
If according to the Minister of Education new plan the matriculation exams (bagruyot) will be minimized and not used for college entry, and the psychometry exams will be done away with completely, what will differentiate between the student bodies of the various universities?
How will a student decide which university to attend, i.e. which is most appropriate for him or her, and how will the university determine which students to accept and which to reject?

He said that IF a student has ABOVE an 87 average in 5- yes, F-I-V-E yechidot Bagruyot of Math, English and Hebrew (which is the top few percent of students in the country) then IN THAT CASE, and only in that case, there would be no requirement to do the Psychometry exam.

MK Feiglin posted that we shouldn't forget the basis of instituting these psychometric exams in the first place - the copying culture in the Arab schools. They already have affirmative action programs to push them into universities with lower marks, this will give them even more of an edge.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if Lapid's party is good for anything except to struggle to make remove the Jewish identity of the country.
