Minister of Interior has found a great way to solve two problem at the same time - to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Way too many Israelis remain unemployed because of Corona, either with no job at all because they were fired or their place of business shut down, or many that were put on furlough from jobs that will hopefully eventually come back but currently have not yet.

Deri came up with this plan to appoint many of these unemployed people as "Corona Inspectors". They would be trained an employed to walk around and enforce the wearing of masks and hand out fines to people who are not.

These new inspectors would be paid a percentage of the fines they levy, as many inspectors in other fields are paid in Israel.

According to Kikar, this plan has not yet received government support or approval.
