But if the Supreme Court decision stands as is, it will simply become a decentralized system more like it is in other countries - the Reform will do their conversions and the Orthodox will not recognize such converts as Jewish, and the State will. That is the way it works everywhere else, and, again - if the decision stands, is how it will end up working here.
