bird flu

The news is reporting that a group of ids visiting the Hula Nature Reserve contracted the Bird Flu from touching an infected Crane.

Interestingly, Actualic used the image of a cow to accompany their article on this subject.

I have been scratching my head trying to figure out if the cow representative of the infected children or of the infected bird?

  1. My son went on a trip with his bird watching chug to Agmon Hachula last week. After this news report, his teacher sent us all a message letting us know that our children did not touch any of the birds, although they saw sick cranes, so we don't have to worry about them contracting bird flu.

    1. the cranes were noticeably sick or the kids were just told they were sick?
I saw some news report this evening that 1800 birds out of 30,000 at the nature reserve are sick now with the bird flu and the are closing the reserve to the public
