Marching for Gilad...
Yesterday I was out and some teenage kids were handing out fliers about the march for Gilad Shalit that will soon be passing Bet Shemesh on its way to Jerusalem. The flier was calling on the people to come out and support, and join, the march.
For those interested, the march is scheduled to march on Jerusalem on July 8th. The march should be leaving from "The Red House" in Motza at 15:30 on july 8th and complete the march to Jerusalem passing the Catavalina Bridge and ending at the protest tent outside of Jerusalem.
I don't know when exactly it is going to pass by Bet Shemesh, but stay tuned for more information.
Noam Shalit has said that they will not return home until they have achieved Gilad's return.
Another thing Noam Shalit said is that their procession would not march on Shabbos, and that in the merit of keeping Shabbos he is confident that they will succeed in obtaining Gilad's release..
Halevai!

The nature of this march is to put pressure on Netanyahu to agree to let even more murderers go in return for Gilad's release, and that those murderers should be allowed to reside in Yehuda V'Shomron, where they may (God forbid) have the opportunity to kill even more Jews.
ReplyDeletethats why I said the other day that I would not join. I might change my mind closer to the date that they pass Bet Shemesh, even if just to see it, but I dont suppor ttheir mission, other than freeing Gilad - but not by any means, which means pressuring our govt rather than pressuring Hamas.
