ReplyDeleteWhen is someone going to write up the scandalous R.Malinowitz/BTYA ban on Lema'an Achai? What is really going on there? Why the silence about this?
Isn't this banning simply another example of our community shutting up, by bully-boy tactics, any criticism (however well justified) of some rabbis mis-handling of child abuse?

I don't get it. By all accounts, R. Malinowitz has banned Lemaan Achai from collecting in Beis Tefiloh due to his claim that David Morris wrongly insulted him. Well, I am sure that David Morris feels that R. Malinowitz wrongly insulted him, in referring to him as a Korach. So should Lemaan Achai prohibit Beis Tefiloh members in need from benefiting from their services? Rafi, can you ask R. Malinowitz about this?
