Quote Of The Day
Quote Of The Day
I think the rise of Shelly Yachimovitz to the head of the LABOR party is a mark of praise for Israeli society. I think the worldview of Shelly Yachimovitz is very dangerous, but choosing her expresses the fact that Israeli society wants leaders with content. Those that believe what they are saying. The nice results Yair Lapid is receiving in the surveys are, in my eyes, a negative mark for Israeli society. He is a person that does not say anything, and his selection is a choice of ratings and not reality.
Noam Shalit did not contribute anything to Israeli society, but he did receive from it - a lot. There is not a person who does not understand that releasing 1000 terrorists with blood on their hands was a tremndous giving to Noam Shalit, as we will all still pay a heavy price, God forbid, for the Shalit deal. Noam Shalit did not give, he only received, and his running now for Knesset testifies toward backward values; meaning he who receives more is more successful, and he is the one who has the power to get votes.

He (Noam) just made Gilad's therapy much more complicated.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, Noam Shalit is trying to give back?
ReplyDeleteGood point. A little judging al kaf zchut never did anyone any harm. Well, maybe it has sometimes, but I don't see the harm in this case.
ReplyDelete"Perhaps, Noam Shalit is trying to give back."
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. The cynicism in the original quote shows that in Israel no one thinks that running for office is about civic duty or helping others. It's about power, influence, and gimme gimme politics.
There is no civil society here.
Noam Shalit is trying to give back.... the land that Israel redeemed in 1967.
ReplyDeleteHow to kill time when you at free time? Internet access?Use Internet to play a game? So you must know WOW Gold or wow gold for sale , very good game, leisure when can play.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is, Feiglin wasn't saying that Noam S is now taking vs. giving. His point is that he hasn't truly earned votes. Someone who has given is worthy or getting votes. If someone who has taken gets votes, that's indicitave of a backwards society
