More than 1000 homes to be marketed in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria

add this to last weeks announcement of 878 homes to be built in Judea and Samaria (not the same homes, from what I understand), and we have a real possibility of thwarting the renewed peace negotiations... if that's the purpose of the announcement, as we all know that the Netanyahu government is not really going to build these homes as serious pressure will be placed on him to freeze this.....

According to the news report, this will include:

• 400 apartments in Gilo
• 210 in Chomat Shmuel
• 183 in Pisgat Zeev
• (totaling 793 in [East] Jerusalem)
• 117 in Ariel
• 149 in Efrat
• 92 in Maaleh Adumim
• 36 in Beitar
• (totaling 394 in Judea and Samaria)

Or as Amir Mizroch, writer for Israel Hayom, put it in his Twitter feed, after doing the calculation that comes to about 69 homes per prisoner freed, considering today it will be determined which 26 prisoners will be freed n the first batch of prisoners, and about 1800 homes have just been approved to go to tender...
